Spicer Thoroughbreds Team fundraising in 4Tracks4Kids Walk

4tracks4kids

4Tracks4Kids is dedicated in helping the kids of Australia through raising funds to help develop medicines and cures for kid’s diseases, training medical personal and purchasing important medical equipment.

4Tracks4Kids is closely aligned with the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network incorporating both Westmead and the Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick as well as helping other charities that have included Bravehearts, Doxa Youth Foundation, Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation, Melanoma Foundation and the Breast Cancer Foundation by raising funds through its yearly events.

4Tracks4Kids was founded by racing identity Richard Callander through his television commitments on TVN Channel 522. The charitable foundation was born out of a misguided statement by Callander when he declared New Zealand couldn’t draw or beat Italy in the World Cup of football in 2010. If they were to win or draw Callander would walk between the four Sydney racetracks raising funds for charity. It was a one all draw and hence 4Tracks4Kids was born.

Callander quickly sort the advice and help of his mate and long-time charity worker Peter Wilson to help develop the 4Tracks4Kids brand and with Peter’s devotion and connections it was up and running and raising much needed funds in quick time.

To date 4Tracks4Kids has raised close to $1.5 million dollars aiding the kids of Australia.

This year Spicer Thoroughbreds are walking for charity.
