Not often things go according to script in racing but we were on the receiving end of everything just clicking in a fantastic story today at Rosehill.

Our winning machine, Unspoken, a horse we bought in the UK, won the $2m Five Diamonds. With the race restricted to 5yo’s it was in our sights for him this campaign and he hadnt turn a hair in the leadup winning 3 races on the trot, each victory better than the last.

This one was his toughest assignment but despite the narrow margin he still won with authority. He is a horse who knows what he is there for and does what he has to do and given the gun ride by Tom Sherry he was afforded the chance to do so. He travelled well in 4th spot and was brought into clear air at the top of the lane. He had a task to get to the tough Zoumon who enjoyed an easy lead but once he got there he showed he deserved to be there.

This is a quality racehorse who is still well shy of what we believe to be his pet distance. Team Snowden has done a brilliant job getting him to find his winning ways and we will have a serious look at the Caulfield Cup next year. Who knows we might be watching him go around in a well known 3200m Hcp about this time next year!

Congratulations to winning owners: Tedwin Bloodstock, G P I Racing, Marcstown, Throsby Racing, Mr C Carter, Mr D R Wockner, Mr P A Johnson, Mr T M Forrester, Mr C P Simpson, Mr B J Spicer, Mr B P Morrissey, Mr J Morrissey

With the $1.15m first prize, it now takes his earnings to just shy of $1.5m
