Hadronica Wins at Rosehill Gardens

In what proved to be a prudent bit of planning, Hadronica notched up another city win this afternoon after Brad and Leon identified a race in Sydney as a perfect option for her. Up the Hume Hwy she travelled with the hope of bringing an unlucky run of winless but close-up runs to an end and with only 7 others to beat – that she did, in style, in a BM 75 race for Fillies and Mares at Rosehill.

The Charge Forward mare was given the perfect ride by Josh Parr who had her camped right behind the speed, breathing down the necks of the leaders from the get-go. Relishing the Sydney way of going, Hadronica looked very comfortable throughout and Parr eased her around heels on the corner, surged her to the front in the straight and as she rounded them up she gave nothing else a look in, eventually going on to score by 1.3L from the Kris Lees galloper, I’m Mary Too.

That victory netted her connections nearly $50k and it now takes the 5yo’s record to 5 wins and 5 placings from 18 starts with prizemoney in excess of $130k, making her a handy money spinner at the track and no doubt adding some residual value as a future broodmare.
