Well the wait was worth it today with Word Of Mouth, he trialled really well considering he doesn’t know that much about racing at this stage .He missed the start ,doesn’t know how to let down yet, but the way he stood the leaders up 5 lengths on turn and to run them to within a nose on the line gives us confidence he has untapped ability.
Leon was all smiles(like me ) post trial as he stood there digesting the trial and said you have to be happy with that!, which coming from Leon who doesn’t get carried away ever, I can translate he was ecstatic!.
Chris Nicol rode him and said he is still very new and raw ,but was really happy with his final 200 meters.
He will head to another trial in the next fortnight and he will improve a hell of a lot going forward.

We have been working hard to set up a system whereby we can deliver private news, photos, images & audio reports to each owner group, in a private room, so that you have the inside word on the progress of your horses.
Some information, News and images will be made public, so we can all share in our successes, but horse progress and trials will be kept private for each owner group.
We look forward to providing you all with an industry-leading owner experience, that takes you closer to the action, and into the ‘inner-circle’.
We welcome owners input, and would love to receive any photos or videos that you take at the races or the stables. We will also be loooking at the potential of a Member’s Forum in the future, where we can build a private online community forum for you to share your experiences.
