Well Congratulations and after a frustrating run of placings she finally got the job done for us, even though she missed the kick and had to survive a protest !
Now that we have that elusive win on the board and knowing her history with soundness issues, it’s the right time to put her in the paddock and send her to the sales at the Magic Millions in May/June as we should get a nice result of between 20-40k.
There was a breeder sniffing around with some interest a few weeks ago and hopefully with the win on the board that might prompt him to put an offer in on her.
Well done guys as for a while I thought we were going to struggle to break our maiden status, but all in all she has done a great job to overcome her soundness issues to record a win and hopefully she can now go onto and make a fist of her next part of her career as a broodmare.
I will let you know if any offers come in for her, if that doesn’t eventuate then we will stick with the Magic Millions plan for May/June sales.
