Zabeelionaire runs 2nd at Morphettville in the wet
Well we went into the race with no expectations, and to see what the boy did today nearly brought a tear to my eye, as he tried his guts out even through the wet ground.
Ollie and a big flat track is the key to this guy as Morphettville is similar to Flemington. I am sure we will get another win shortly if we can fluke a dry track over the coming weeks, but he did show today that a slow 7 he can be effective.
It’s a huge relief as today was the first time we thought he was a winning chance all prep, before the rain came that is, but so happy for Leon as he did cop some stick for starting him, so kudos to him.
