Doom N Boom 2 for 2 at Geelong
Credit to Leon and Troy as he isn’t the easiest horse to train and what they actually did was shorten all his work up over the last month and that seems to be agreeing with him.Chris Parnham gave him the gun run again which was the difference between winning and losing with the big weight. It’s amazing what a little confidence can do!

Congratulations !
Well that was a sight for sore eyes ! every time we put the acid on him he lifts which is a good sign and on that I think we nearly believe Jamie’s thought that he lost all concentration last start , as today he was so good all the way to the line.
Chris Parnham summed up the situation perfectly, had him a little closer than we anticipated ,but when he needed to make a move he did it effortlessly pinching the race at the 500 meter mark where he put 5 lengths on them, from their it was a matter of holding on ……
Well done to all involved and Doom n Boom lives to fight again another day.
Doom ‘n Boom Wins At Terang
Well that was a sight for sore eyes today as you have finally seen what we see on regular basis in training, and maybe it all came together for him today.
It was a great patient ride from Jamie and he presented the horse at the right stage which was paramount to him unleashing a good turn of foot in the final 400 meters.
Jamie was very complimentary post-race and thought he can really go on with the job now so fingers crossed its the start of things to come.
(I reckon he must of overheard us on the update stating it was his time to stand up – Geez I am glad he listened!)
