Well what a day ,it was truly a day we will savour for a few reasons, 1st is the way Mr won under duress knowing his throat issue , 2nd is how well-mannered he was throughout the day and during the race , 3rd was the special win for John Donegan ( 90) who passed away last night after a long battle with illness. John was a great supporter of ours racing such horses like Commanding Jewel , Zabeelionaire, Vezalay, King’s Command and todays hero in Mr Individual !

Hats off to Ben Thompson who executed a plan perfectly to have our boy as settled as he could of and it was the best he has ever been during a race ,hopefully that moment when the penny dropped.

Leon and Troy have done a marvellous job to get him back winning after a few issues ,but hopefully we can win back to back here at Caulfield in 2 weeks time to cap off a good campaign.
