German bred Feuermond saluted once again in the “Blue ’n’ Gold”, making it 4 wins for the lightly raced 6yo.
Lindsey Smith had him spot-on for this race at Terang so with his preferred sting out of the ground, a nice patient ride from Jarrod Fry and the BM64 grade, it all came together for a solid win.
Feuermond is another of our European purchases. Having just his 15th race start, the well named son of European stallion, Sea The Moon (Feuermond means Fire Moon in German) has had his issues which have thwarted his progress. He takes constant management but Lindsey and his team do a great job getting him right.
Second-up today, hopefully he can keep progressing through the winter with suitable surfaces around for him.
