Lope de Vega x Linky Dink

Wow what an opportunity for all our clients to get involved with a cracking filly out of the mare Linky Dink, who won the Group 1 Q.T.C T.J Smith Classic in Qld, that’s right a filly out of a group 1 winning mare, it doesn’t get any better!

She is by the first season sire Lope De Vega a son of Shamardal who was a champion racehorse in France.
He was a dual group 1 winner and was an outstanding racehorse. His low galloping action was a great attribute and when he was asked to quicken it was like watching poetry in motion, so smooth! Check him out his group 1 deeds in this promo clip – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETPtvby0U2M

She will be trained by Leon Corstens who has a real knack with these classic fillies having worked so closely with Bart Cummings for a quarter of a decade with some of the best race fillies to ever grace the racetrack.

Our colt has just finished his first prep with Snowden Racing in Sydney at their Randwick stables, and they are very buoyant about him.

Paul Snowden is super keen to put him on the Magic Million’s path after he went through his education process this time around and passed with flying colours. I myself was reserved, as I do think he will make a lovely late 2-year / 3-year old type, but after speaking to Paul, he was in raptures on how quickly he picks things up and said he will make into a lovely 2 year old later this year. Paul went onto to say he is a jet out of the gates and has all the attributes you look for in a good juvenile a great attitude coupled with a good appetite.
