We were thrilled to see our UK purchased, Unspoken record his first win on Australian soil, proving too tough for his rivals at Rosehill today.

Resuming after a solid trial performance, Team Snowden felt his freshness would hold him in good stead for a first up tilt over 1500m. Punters didn’t miss him either sending him out $3.4 second fav behind the well bred Gracilistyla.

He began in neutral from his inside gate, and jockey Josh Parr allowed the 5yo NH bred gelding plenty of time to balance up. He appreciated the genuine speed ahead of him and started to pick things up near the corner, peeling into the open to lay his claim. Parr surged him home but Gracilistyla loomed dangerously. That’s when our boy dug deep and kept finding, holding a visible margin to the line.

Unspoken is a lovely progressive type who, if he measures up will be targeted for longer assignments, particularly the Sydney Cup.
