We weere thrilled to see our 2yo colt The Heir demolish hs rivals at bendigo today, bringing up his first victory at start number two.
The son of Rich Enuff did a great job controlling the race with his good tactical speed and after doing some work to get across from his wide gate, jockey Fred Kersely rated him to perfection. He clicked The Heir up in the straight who found another gear which left his rivals for dead as he raced clear to score by 4L.
After a solid debut in mid June behind Landmark (who since went on to be runner up at Caulfield and Flemington) we gave him a nice break between runs and he went to the races nice and fresh giving us plenty of confidence. He didn’t disappoint!
The smart judges in Hong Kong were on the phone quickly with the offers. We sold him for a tidy sum which although meant we lost a smart horse, gave our owners a fantastic windfall!.
