Today we got a good glimpse of a very classy conveyance on his first step to becoming the horse we think he will.
It’s A Yes, an Inglis Easter ‘22 purchase was sent to an Ararat Maiden yesterday for a soft kill, and all went to plan, with the son of Yes Yes Yes looking classes above his rivals.
Jamie Mott piloted the 3yo to perfection, rating him ideally in front. He controlled the tempo throughout and when the gun jock flicked his wrists, It’s A Yes lowered to his next gear and dashed clear to score by a space, with another decent margin to 3rd.
He’s a beautifully bred commodity related to dual Gr2 and Gr3 winner, Formality and we just couldn’t resist the fact he was out of a Shamardal mare, a detail we have so much respect for.
He still has some of his coltish habits to lose from his memory but once they’re ironed out, he should be a top notch proposition moving forward.
