Siegestor Wins at Sandown

Well what a win and today he has stamped himself with a very bright future as he showed us he can toy with that class, so onwards and upwards.

(Jockey) Steve King was very appreciative, as he doesn’t get the same support as he once use to, but champion riders never lose their ability and we have faith in Steve to carry us forward to a good career. He said it was simply a case of being better and much better than them today and he has plenty of upside.

For Leon and Troy it was great relief to see him come back the way he did after his setbacks in the past and if we have a trouble free prep we should be able to graduate to better races.

Well done guys, and congratulations as we have a big team of owners and its always special when we win, but with a big group it amplifies everything 10 fold.

Siegestor wins Maiden at Bendigo

Well what a fairy-tale start to our boy’s career with a win first up for Seigestor! Steven King gave him a lovely run 3 wide with cover and came with a well-timed run to take it out in impressive style. We don’t know what was behind him as not much form was exposed, but we will get a great guide to his future at his next few as he steps out of maiden company.

We had a great bunch of owners turn up yesterday and I trust it was a very enjoyable day for all involved!

Steven King reported it was a pretty smart win as he is still learning, he wanted to have a bit of a gawk down the straight and when he hit the front he didn’t know what to do as he had nothing to chase, overall a good effort for a horse on debut.

Leon was thrilled with the win as the horse has lots of improvement and should get better as the distances get longer. Leon actually nearly scratched the horse yesterday as he left a bit of feed the night before and was worried he wasn’t coping with the heat, therefore we might give him a quiet few days to see how he is before planning his next assignment.
