The Mirabel Foundation is a fantastic organisation that works with children orphaned or abandoned due to parental illicit drug use who are now living in kinship care. Mirabel runs a wide range of programs to support both carers and children and work with some of the most vulnerable children in our communities and Spicer Thoroughbreds are happy to support the foundation.

Mirabel has teamed up with 6 great charities to create a virtual step-a-thon, supporting our community’s most vulnerable in these difficult times.
While many of us are feeling the impact of lockdown on our less-active bodies, mental health and sense of connection, others are finding it harder than most. A group of eight not-for-profits supporting vulnerable kids, mental illness and disability have banded together to get us all off the couch and get moving for a great cause. Join us on Sunday June 21st as we Rock Around The World with a celebrity-filled, live streamed event, linking us all together as we take on this physical challenge whilst raising much needed funds along the way.
Ever wanted to do star jumps with a sports hero (let’s face it who hasn’t)? Want to rock out with a singing legend? Whether you’re Stepping (walk or run), Rocking (dance, wriggle or move), or Rolling (wheelchair, cycling or skating) every movement makes a difference . Take on a personal challenge (reckon you can scoot 20km in one day?) or as part of a team of colleagues, family or neighbours (you can relay 58,000 steps to the top of Everest).
Together we’re aiming to lap the world, with 50 million steps, rocks or rolls in total. It’s easy to track your movements through the Rock Around the World website and join in the livestream event throughout the day as we beam motivation, laughs and special guests into your home. So choose your challenge, set your fundraising target, select Mirabel and let’s get ready to Rock Around the World together!
