Saone wins at Ballarat

Well congratulations and it was super to see her stretch out late to win convincingly, albeit by less than a length. She presented a little fitter today and I am certain the more racing she does the better she will get.

Dean was happy to let  her drift back, but we got snookered in an awkward spot, not at all enjoying the kickback  and clearly was off the bit a long way out chasing, luckily she had the class to overcome adversity! We need to really put this into perspective as he is only just 2 at her 2nd start, beating older more seasoned horses which gives us plenty to think about for the spring going forward.

Lindsey said she will improve even further with more racing and can’t wait to step her up in trip over the spring. She has lots of potential and will only keep developing further so the spring and autumn campaigns are really exciting to see what levels she can reach.
