Well it’s nice to be surprised with today’s win, and one we won’t be giving back! Darren did say this morning that she will most likely need the run and will be improved over further distance’s ( next start), but we might have struck a weak maiden and Norfleet asserted some class!
Damian Lane was really impressed with how Norfleet gathered them up late, suggesting that she will be better over further distances. I would say on today’s first up win and knowing Darren left plenty of improvement in her, she could step to a metro race in her next couple of starts.
