Spicer Thoroughbreds, established in January 2005, is a professional Racehorse Management/Syndication Business. We are a relatively new business with a keen hunger to excel in the syndication field. We attend all the major yearling sales throughout Australasia, striving to find the next Group 1 champion.

History – Brad Spicer

I have worked with Corstens Racing for the last ten years as an owner and race horse manager. I have attended all the major yearling sales, working alongside the highly respected George Smith, Leon Corstens, Troy Corstens and Gary Mudgeway. During that period. I have been involved with the purchases of Helenus (Multiple Group 1 winner, including Caulfield Guineas and the Victoria Derby), Mr. Martini (winner of Group 2 Bill Stut Stakes) and also the promising Tszyu who won the Kilmore Cup.

Brad Spicer’s New Role for 2007

I have just recently accepted a role on the Hold Ya Horse’s radio Program on 1116 SEN sport radio in Melbourne.

The job will involve co - producing and hosting on certain occasions. I will be working along side Ross Flegaltaub (host), Simon Marshall (15 times group 1 winner) and the Icon (Rogan) Josh Rodder.

It will give me a chance to Keep my finger on the Pulse, with all the racing news and I am looking forward too it with much anticipation.

If you would like to tune into the show click on the link below, Hold Ya Horse’s is on Saturday mornings between 8 & 9 am
